Applications are now being accepted for IABC/Toronto’s 2017-18 Mentorship Program. Available as a members-only benefit, this is a valuable learning experience for all levels of communicators.
IABC/Toronto’s mentoring program runs from mid-October until the end of May. It includes structured matching between mentors and mentees, one group meeting and a series of monthly one-on-one meetings between the mentoring partners. We will also provide mentors with a support session.
The program gives mentees a chance to learn new skills from someone further ahead in their career and allows mentors to learn about fresh ideas outside their circle of friends and colleagues. Mentors also have a chance to be nominated for the Mentor of the Year Award.
Want to mentor or be mentored?
Please complete the online form by September 30, 2017. IABC/Toronto will match you with a mentor or mentee based on your shared interests and goals. Keep in mind that the number of mentees that are accepted depends on the number of volunteer mentors available.
