All deadlines close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Time Frame

Eligible work must be implemented, published or broadcast between January 2023 and the date of submission.

You may enter:

  • Long-term strategies developed before 2023 if they have not been submitted before
  • Projects submitted in 2024 or 2025 that did not win an award, as long as they are revised

Note: You may not resubmit work that has won in previous years.

Entry fees are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of tax. All deadlines close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Members must be key contributors to the project. A Member ID is required for validation.

Payment

Payment is the final step in the submission process. Entries must be paid in full before the deadline to be eligible. Payment is accepted online by credit card only.

IABC Professional Membership

If you're looking to expand your professional network, enhance your skills, and grow your career through learning, mentorship, and volunteer opportunities, an IABC Professional Membership option is for you!

As an IABC Professional member affiliated with the Toronto Chapter, you receive all benefits of international IABC membership along with full access to IABC/Toronto programming, including:

  • Discounted rates for local professional development opportunities, networking events, and award submissions.
  • Access to local Special Interest Groups, such as Professional Independent Communicators, Senior Communicators Circle, and Student Communications Circle.
  • Mentorship Program and volunteer opportunities to build leadership experience and give back to the profession and your local community.
  • Member-only opportunities, such as being featured in Member Spotlights or contributing to the Communicator e-magazine.
  • Access to Perkopolis and discounts on CareerCycles and Media Rating Points (MRP) subscriptions.

Cost: $294 CAD + $95 Toronto Chapter and Region dues

IABC Plus Membership

If you are looking to take your career to the next level, this option is for you. It offers everything regular IABC Membership does with the addition of full access to IABC On Demand education hub, waived GCCC Certification application fee, and a free GCCC recertification.

Cost: $441 CAD + $95 Toronto Chapter and Region dues

IABC Group Membership

Joining IABC with your colleagues ensures all the benefits of full IABC Membership at a discounted price. Businesses planning to purchase membership for five or more employees receive a 15% discount. For more details, reach out to: member_relations@iabc.com

Student Membership

Take advantage of the benefits of an IABC membership and build your professional network from the start of your career. Students actively pursuing a degree or a certificate in communications, public relations, or related field from an accredited institution are eligible.

Cost: $42 CAD

IABC Lite Membership

IABC Lite Membership is the entry level membership for communication professionals to experience the basic benefits of international IABC membership and consider engaging at a deeper level. It includes access to International Shared Interest Groups, IABC’s Online Community, IABC basic Catalyst content, monthly IABC Bulletin, sponsored webinars, networking opportunities at the global level, and a 5% discount on IABC World Conference.

Cost: $115 USD, note the price is in US dollars.

As part of the IABC/Toronto chapter, IABC Lite members have access to select local events at a discounted rate and limited volunteering opportunities. Lite members also enjoy exclusive access to Perkopolis, as well as discounts on CareerCycles and Media Rating Points (MRP) subscriptions.

Lite members don't have access to local Special Interest Groups (Professional Independent Communicators, Senior Communicators Circle, Student Communications Circle), member-only opportunities (such as being featured in Member Spotlights or contributing to the Communicator e-magazine), Mentorship Program, and OVATION Awards submission discounts.
