Do you want to take your career to the next level?
Communications Management Professional and Strategic Communication Management Professional exams are coming back to Toronto
Accelerate your career! Earn your Communication Management Professional (CMP®) or Strate
Certification will bring you global recognition, enhance your career and show your commitment to strategy, ethics and your ability to solve problems and drive business results through strategic communication.
The Global Communication Certification Council® (GCCC®) certification program is based on the Global Standard of the Communications Profession – set out by IABC – and both the CMP® and SCMP® certifications were developed to conform to ISO (17024) and are both internationally accredited. These are the only global certifications that have reached this level of standards.
- Watch a virtual information session
- Choose the certification path that is right for you
- Apply to get certified as a CMP® and SCMP® (fees apply)
- Once accepted into the CMP® and SCMP® certification path, register for the exam* (fees apply)
- After the exam, you will be notified of the results (pass/fail) via email and will receive your certificate at that time if you passed
*You have two years from the date of acceptance to register for the exam. Due to the cancellation of the January 2021 exams in Toronto, the GCCC® will honour an extension for individuals who were unable to take their exam, and these individuals will not need to pay registration fees again. If you experience any difficulties when registering, contact info@gcccouncil.org.
Starting this Summer, the GCCC® will offer online proctoring so eligible CMP® and SCMP® candidates can take their exam anytime, anywhere at their convenience.
Given this exciting new development, IABC/Toronto will transition to online exams moving forward.
Earlier this year, the CMP® and SCMP® certification exam in Toronto was postponed due to COVID-19.
If you wish to take an in-person exam, visit the GCCC® website for upcoming dates and locations.
Please email any questions about certification to info@gcccouncil.org.
