Catherine is an award-winning marketing communications professional and has held various marketing and communication roles at B2B professional services companies, including Sun Life, Ministry of Innovation & Research, Cushman & Wakefield, and most recently KPMG, as their Global Brand Manager.
As a communicator, she thinks in terms of opportunities and really enjoys collaborating with stakeholders to uncover and solve their business needs. She takes an integrative approach to communications, pulling from various fields to build successful programs. As Catherine noted, “In a world of constant change, you never know where you’ll find the next great idea. When building programs, I’ll “steal” ideas from communications, marketing, learning & development and human resources.”
Catherine joined IABC in 1999, and over the years she’s volunteered as judge, mentor and attended numerous events. “As an IABC member, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many smart, dedicated and inspiring professionals. I’m looking forward to expanding my IABC network at the upcoming Senior Communicators Circle,” said Catherine.
When she’s not working, Catherine is pursuing her Master of Interdisciplinary Studies at Royal Roads University. Her thesis is focused on exploring how B2B service companies can build trust to drive brand equity.
