Member Spotlight: Nathalie Noël

Nathalie Noël and IABC have been inseparable since 2000.

Their movie montage opens with a fresh faced Nathalie joining IABC/London (Ontario) as a student member. Nathalie and her IABC membership both became “professional” when she completed Fanshawe College’s post-grad Corporate Communication and Public Relations program and landed her first communications role with the Canadian Cancer Society.

Keen to build her network and skills, Nathalie volunteered with the IABC/London chapter, leading its professional development and communications portfolios. With the support of her IABC contacts and experience, Nathalie’s career progressed with roles at the United Way (leading its rebranding efforts) and adHOME, a marketing agency.

In 2015, Nathalie and her membership packed their bags and moved to the big city. Nathalie leads communications at The Law Foundation of Ontario, a grantmaking organization that funds initiatives to advance access to justice. She also freelances in the areas of communications strategy and brand development.

Just as it has always been, Nathalie and IABC are joined at the hip. Nathalie volunteers as a judge for IABC/Toronto’s OVATION Awards and its Professional Independent Communicators group has been instrumental in helping her grow her consulting business.

20 years together and Nathalie and IABC are going strong. Credits roll.

Nathalie Noël has worked in communications and marketing for 20 years. She is The Law Foundation of Ontario’s communications specialist and she does freelance consulting in the areas of brand development and communications strategy. You can reach her at hello@nathalienoel.ca.
