Member Spotlight: Alice Namu

Alice Namu is an independent communications consultant with expertise in strategy and planning, PR and media relations, as well as multi platform content creation. She has a multisectoral background in corporate, academic, not for profit and faith based organizations, which she leverages upon to develop, oversee and evaluate dynamic communications solutions.

Alice is a communications and culture enthusiast – passionate about community building, stakeholder engagement, and outreach initiatives. As an IABC/Toronto Board Member, she oversees a team of 5 volunteers who support the delivery of the Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC) examinations, the Communicator of the Year (COTY) Awards and the Student of the Year (SOTY) Awards. She also serves as a board representative on IABC/Toronto’s IDEA (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) Committee, and as an officer for the North American Chapter of the World Association of Christian Communication (WACC).
