It’s Pride Month! In the June issue of The Buzz, IABC/Toronto’s Professional Independent Communicators are proudly flying the rainbow flag.

Pride Month is the perfect time to talk about an important foundation of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. Brent Artemchuk gives Sue Horner, SCMP, important details about employee resource groups (ERGs), including their benefits and how you can measure their success.

As communication professionals, we have a significant role to play in fostering greater inclusion. We’ve got advice from past Buzz issues that’s still relevant today, including two 3×3 discussions with PIC members about inclusive communications and being an ally. We also revisit how organizations were (and apparently still are) embracing diversity and inclusion, and how we can be better allies.
