PIC marks a fall reset in the September Buzz

Five diverse young business people are in discussion around a table in a boardroom. Text reads: The Buzz. Your source for everything indie. The I A B C / Toronto and P I C logos are on the top left and a “Join P I C” button top right.

September often means a fall reset, marking a return to business after the sometimes  lazy days of summer vacation.  And The Buzz is back with a roundup of things going on in the world of IABC/Toronto’s Professional Independent Communicators.

The speaker at a recent collaborative event with the IABC Consultants Shared Interest Group gave us food for thought about building our businesses. Trish Tervit captures some key points about how to drive growth beyond word of mouth and referrals.

Sharon Aschaiek has added a new service to her communication business, offered to organizations striving to protect Jewish civil rights, safety and inclusion. Learn why and how communicators have an important role to play in her conversation with Brent Artemchuk.

In the last Buzz, Heather Redfearn shared her take on the value of taking the time to connect with fellow professionals at conferences. You have a chance to see for yourself at the IABC Canada Conference in Ottawa in October. Get the details and see which PIC members are speaking at it.

And find out why Brent Artemchuk, Cathy Cowan and Matisse Hamel-Nelis are in the news.
