Lev Calang (She/Her)

Lev is a mission-driven events and marketing communications professional with over 10 years of experience in events and project management, community-based programs, nonprofit communications, business operations, and stakeholder engagement across grassroots, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and academic environments.

She is the founder of All Women Entrepreneurship Circuit (AWEC) Canada, a nonprofit that supports women entrepreneurs in Ontario. Lev brings a strong background in organizing multi-stakeholder community events, scaling membership programs, and leading cross-functional teams.

As a new member of IABC Toronto, Lev looks forward to contributing her expertise toward delivering successful and impactful events in support of the chapter’s mission and the broader communications community.

Lev holds a Master of Management Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MMIE) degree from Queen’s University – Smith School of Business and a Bachelor in Business Administration degree from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. She is currently a Professional Communications graduate student at The Creative School Toronto Metropolitan University. Her research focus is on digital marketing communication strategies for volunteer engagement and recruitment in community nonprofit organizations.
