Celebrate Fennella Bruce: IABC/Toronto’s Communicator of the Year for 2023

Friday, March 1, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EST 

Join IABC/Toronto as we honour Fennella Bruce, veteran television producer and writer. Fennella is being recognized for demonstrating leadership and communications excellence through her ongoing work boosting the voices of Black professionals in the media. Giving Black professionals opportunities to share their stories and experience with a national audience is a powerful tool against anti-black racism in Canada. IABC/Toronto applauds her for her continuous impactful efforts in such important work.

Panel Discussion:
The impact media exposure can have for Black professionals/experts and how this translates with credibility, breaking stereotypes, financially and bringing more voices/perspectives to the media landscape and why this is crucial in Canada.
