That was one participant’s feedback, echoed by every member who attended the first Senior Communicator’s Circle on January 23rd.
Ten seasoned communicators gathered in a private area of the Queen and Beaver gastro-pub in downtown Toronto, for dinner, drinks, war stories and lots of laughs.
Discussion was lively as they shared experiences and insights on the evening’s topic: “The Senior Communicator as Change Leader/Manager”.
IABC Toronto has a strong core of Senior Communicators and the Senior Communicator’s Circle is part of our broader push to cater more closely to the needs and interests of this valued group.
The bi-monthly event brings together a small group of senior communicators for networking, peer mentoring and knowledge sharing, with featured discussions on a pertinent communication theme.
If you are interested in joining the next Senior Communicator’s Circle on March 12th, please send an email to Nkiru Asika, Vice President, Special Interest Groups at Toronto-sig@iabc.to.
