Community Engagement and Communication Specialist
Kelsey Muir is a communications professional with six years of experience in community engagement, crisis communications, issues management and media relations. Kelsey’s communication experience started in corporate communications for the health care sector, specifically in long-term care and home health care.
In her current role with AECOM, she is a Community Engagement and Communication Specialist where she focuses on a variety of infrastructure clients and projects in the GTA. She is passionate about developing a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and concerns while bringing them to the forefront of each client project. Kelsey recently completed a certificate in Risk Management from Seneca College and is excited to add the Risk Management perspective into her daily communications and community engagement role.
Kelsey is also a long time IABC/Toronto volunteer and has held various volunteer roles from event registration, Director Networking, Director Volunteers and now volunteers as he VP of Networking. Over the years “I have enjoyed meeting new like-mind professionals and have developed and expanded on a variety of skills. One of the great things about volunteering is the opportunity to either enhance your current skills or try something completely new.”
