Award-winning independent writer, director and producer James Hyslop launches this entertaining, hands-on 90-minute session with a presentation of various corporate videos. Then James discusses the process to determine:
A 60-minute workshop follows, where participants break into groups of four to five, with each group assigned a specific scenario, for example crisis management, a product launch, corporate image, a cause or CSR initiative, etc. Groups will have approximately 15 minutes to determine what the story is, how they will tell the story and who will tell it. Then each group will present their stories to James for feedback, group discussion and dialogue.
This session will be followed by general Q&A, plus time for networking and informal discussion.
Intended for mid- to senior-level communication, marketing and PR professionals.

James Hyslop, an award-winning director and producer of many film and television projects over the past 15 years, is the executive producer of Alibi Entertainment. From episodes airing on Food Network Canada, The Cooking Channel, Food Network USA and History Channel to multiple documentary series chronicling men and women who fought during WWII, James writes, directs and produces all manner of projects. In addition to broadcast work, James has created TV commercials and advertising campaigns for brands such as Volkswagen, Sony, Honda, Walmart and Nabisco. He has lived and worked in North America, Europe, South America, Asia and Africa and his work has aired in more than 100 countries.
