This joint PIC-IABC/Toronto event is for anyone who wants to take real action to support the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities for International Coming Out Day (October 11), Pride Month and beyond. Raising a rainbow flag during Pride Month is not enough.
Luis Augusto Nobre (he/him), Senior Communications Coordinator, and Hanna Haddad (he/him), Business Development Coordinator, both from Pride at Work Canada / Fierté au travail Canada, will share research, business cases and best practices. You’ll learn practical strategies for authentic, sustainable support for inclusion on the basis of gender and sexual diversity, including:
- • Building processes to support your clients and organizations
- • Creating marketing and communications initiatives for greater impact
- • Going beyond pronouns
- • Rooting out systemic barriers related to privilege
- • Building strong internal teams
Our Zoom format will allow time for Q&A and discussion, but if you have specific questions you’d like addressed, please send them ahead of time to toronto-sig@iabc.to.
