IABC/Toronto Presents: Networking in the East

If you live and work outside of Toronto’s downtown core, it may be difficult to get out to all the great IABC/Toronto sessions and events held throughout the year.
IABC/Toronto, therefore, is holding occasional, free networking events in the farther reaches of the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area.
If you’re a professional communicator located east of Toronto (i.e., Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Brooklin, Oshawa, Courtice, Bowmanville, and beyond), we are planning an event just for you!
Join us on October 16 for a free networking event at Milestones in Whitby. You’re invited to get to know other east-end communicators in a casual setting. Join us to learn about what’s happening at IABC/Toronto, find out what your peers are working on, learn about what tools they’re using, and have a few drinks and snacks with new and old friends.
Date: Tuesday, October 16, 2018
Time: 6 to 8 p.m.
Location: Milestones, 75 Consumers Drive (at Thickson and 401), Whitby; in the bar area
Cost: Food and drinks are pay your own way, but the great conversation is free!
Who can attend: All professional communicators
This event is open to all professional communicators – whether on staff at organizations or self-employed – who work or live east of Toronto, or who want to attend an event in this area. All members of IABC/Toronto chapter are welcome, but you don’t need to be a member to attend.
